Remember the Ladies

Remember the Ladies is a project I conceived and designed as a tribute to female icons who have made huge strides towards equality for women in the United States. The title stems from the first time women were ever referenced in relation to politics. 

Objective
Design an artistic and inspiring publication and corresponding motion design video that chronicle the historic struggle for equal rights and the exceptional American women who fought relentlessly in its pursuit.

My Role
I created hand-drawn illustrations for the publication and used After Effects and kinetic typography that reflects the style of the publication for the motion design video. I edited and chose the music for the video, which features three speeches from women who are featured in the book.
