Rethinking the future of business in the digital-first era.

The mandate for change, accelerated by the pandemic has transformed the entire business landscape. For the first time, IBM was faced with a new challenge. How to host The State of Salesforce: The Future of Business remotely. 

Objective
Create an immersive experience through a microsite and downloadable report, taking users through a digital journey. In a post-pandemic world, without in-person conferences, it was imperative to create an immersive experience through this microsite and annual report that was unique to IBM.

My Role
Develop the concept and UX/UI experience and downloadable report, including animated custom graphics and a specialized visual taxonomy system to differentiate each chapter creating a fresh new look that still adhered to IBM brand guidelines.

The incorporation of animated custom graphics, color taxonomy system for the individual chapters, and micro-animated data points enhanced the idea of an immersive experience within the microsite. As the user transitions through the subcategories of the report, they were introduced to a new look and feel.

The foundation of the microsite was the downloadable report. Although the microsite was the immersive experience that established the campaign identity, it was solely a truncated version of the 25 page downloadable report which expanded on the The State of Salesforce: The Future of Business.
